This was stated, in particular, during the evening meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by MP from “Batkivshchyna” Ivan Krulko, who was indignant at the fact that in parliament no votes found for including in the agenda a draft resolution calling on the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against Yanukovych and members of his team.
“Please tell me, can’t the post-Maidan parliament include this on the agenda? A simple analysis shows that there were 244 votes for the previous decision, and then suddenly it became 217. Problem: where did the 27 votes go? And 27 votes disappeared precisely from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction, whose head signed this project. And I have a question. Where are the connecting rod marmots located? Where is Moscow's hand? Where are the deputies who do not vote for the imposition of personal sanctions on Yanukovych and his entire retinue?” the deputy was indignant.
“So let’s find these connecting rod marmots, bring them into the light and show who today is against the protection of national security, against the protection of national interests. Don't look for a black cat in a dark room where there isn't one, but look at yourself and follow the votes. Become statesmen, stop being hands of Moscow,” Krulko urged.
In turn, MP from the BPP Ivan Melnychuk accused “Batkivshchyna” of inability to count and said that he would tell him how to count correctly.
“Let's start with the fact that the Batkivshchyna faction at one time did not support the resolution on Russian aggression against Georgia. This was your first hand in Moscow. The second hand is what you talked about the need to sell the land. And now, when the prime minister is no longer your leader, you are telling us that there is no need to sell,” Melnichuk literally shouted.
At the same time, he added that “he can stick more such hands of Moscow on the party than you might think.”
