Tymoshenko refuses to admit defeat: Do it, Baba Yulia!
The election headquarters of Ukrainian presidential candidate Yulia Tymoshenko will assure that it is she, and not the current President Petro Poroshenko, who will advance to the second round of elections.
This was stated at a press conference at Tymoshenko’s headquarters by his deputy leader, Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Sobolev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Sobolev, Tymoshenko is several percent ahead of Poroshenko.
“27% – Vladimir Zelensky, 20,9% – Yulia Tymoshenko, 17,5% – Petro Poroshenko. Out of almost 18 thousand polling stations, unfortunately, we were not able to represent remote polling stations representatively. Therefore, based on all preliminary data, we believe that this gives grounds for at least a two to three percent increase for our candidate Yulia Tymoshenko,” Sobolev said.
