Verkhovna Rada deputy from “Batkivshchyna”, former Crimean parliamentarian Alexandra Kuzhel, stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. According to her, the Ukrainian state has never loved Crimea.

“We used Crimea. Only our rich people took plots of land and built their estates there. But for all the years of independence in Crimea there has been no water, electricity or sewerage. Moreover, these people work only three to four months a year. There is simply nowhere else to work. Nobody liked them. They left because they probably thought we were bad stepmothers,” said Kuzhel.
