Tymoshenko said that Ukraine lost Crimea because of the stupid Klitschko
Ukraine was unable to save Crimea due to the fact that immediately after the victory of the Maidan, the opposition that came to power was unable to change the leadership of the republic to one loyal to the new government in Kyiv. This was stated in an interview with the Den newspaper by ex-people's deputy and former deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine Andrei Senchenko, a member of Yulia Tymoshenko's Batkivshchyna party.

In his opinion, the leader of “UDAR”, Vitaliy Klitschko, is to blame for this, who first wanted to divide all the positions in Ukraine.
“Turchynov (acting president at that time - author) proposed holding consultations with the leaders of parliamentary factions that intended to join the coalition. They invited Oleg Tyagnibok, he says: “I am ready for any option, since Crimea must be saved.” Next they invite Vitali Klitschko, and he says: “I categorically object.” We: “Well, well, we need to make a decision urgently.” He: “Until we divide the chessboard to the district administration, I am against it.” They tried to persuade him for three days - to no avail. And this is the only thing that could seriously change the situation, keeping the Crimean parliament from a fake referendum. This does not mean that Putin’s special services would not have found some answer, but that would have been a different story,” Senchenko assures.
At the same time, Senchenko clarifies that after the Maidan the opposition urgently needed to legitimize their victory, so they could no longer change power in Crimea bypassing the Constitution: “The written consent of the president is needed to change the Prime Minister of Crimea. This written consent is submitted to the autonomous parliament, and then a decision is made. Even if we held a vote in the Crimean parliament without the written consent of the president, it would be unconstitutional. But at that time it was very important to enter into the constitutional mainstream. But, the most important thing is that Klitschko on the last day - February 25, when there was the last attempt to “press down” him, said: “If you press like that or resolve the issue without me, then I will not sign the coalition agreement.”
