The head of the analytical department of the AAA Consulting Agency, Maria Kolesnik, outlined her forecast for food prices in Ukraine in the near future.
“In August, prices for food products will most likely remain at the current level, and in September they will rise. In particular, the price of milk will increase under the influence of seasonal factors. For the same reason, eggs may become more expensive in mid-autumn. Prices for vegetables may decrease slightly due to excess supply,” she said, speaking at a press conference in Kyiv.
As Navigator reported, experts previously stated that a ban on the import of dairy products from Ukraine to Russia will not help reduce prices on the domestic Ukrainian market.
Let us remind you that Russia has banned the import of Ukrainian pork, potatoes, products of the Roshen confectionery concern, dairy products, as well as soybeans and seeds.
