100 thousand hryvnias of party contributions paid in “black cash” were confiscated from Ukrainian nationalists
The Pechersky District Court of Kyiv decided to confiscate more than 100 thousand hryvnias of contributions to the state budget in support of the right-wing political party Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists (KUN), made in violation of established norms.

According to the results of the analysis of the KUN report on property, income, expenses and financial obligations for the 3rd quarter of 2016, the contributions were received by the chairman of this party in violation of the procedure established by law.
“The amounts of contributions were made in cash, and not through bank transactions, and were not transferred to the current accounts of the specified party in the relevant reporting period, which is a violation... Contributions totaling 101 thousand 651,56 UAH were received from 16 individuals, their amounts range from UAH 1385,19 to UAH 10 thousand,” the NAPC reported.
By a resolution of the Pechersk Court of March 24, 2017, the head of the KUN was found guilty of committing an administrative offense. He was fined in the amount of UAH 1700 with confiscation of contributions to support the party in the amount of UAH 101, the agency noted.
The Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists is one of the oldest political parties in independent Ukraine. Founded on October 18, 1992 in Kyiv. Since 2010, the political force has been headed by Stepan Bratsyun.
