Ukraine has no gas left in case of frost, - ex-minister of energy
Kyiv, December 08 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – There is no gas left in Ukraine’s storage facilities in case of frost, ex-Minister of Energy Yuriy Boyko said at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Conciliation Council.

“If there are severe frosts in the near future, given how much gas has been taken from the underground gas storage facility, a man-made disaster could occur,” he said.
According to Boyko, between December 1 and December 7, Ukraine consumed almost 750 million cubic meters of gas from its reserves.
“Find someone in the government who understands at least something in this sense,” Boyko said.
He recalled that in winter in Ukraine, severe frosts usually begin in January.
“We have to expect very big problems,” says Boyko.
