Ukraine has run out of gas needed to ensure fuel transit to the EU
Ukraine has practically pumped out the accident-free volume of transit gas from the pipeline, so the escalation of the war in Donbass may be associated with an attempt by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to divert the attention of the European Union from this problem.
State Duma deputy Sergei Zheleznyak stated this on the air of the talk show “Evening”.

“I want to draw attention to the economic aspect of the problem - these are the days when the possibility of accident-free withdrawal of transit gas by Ukraine ends, and the cold weather continues. Therefore, in the very near future there may be problems with gas supplies to European consumers. It is precisely by understanding this and preempting claims from European powers that Poroshenko is trying to shift the focus to a topic that is clear to him. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know how to carry out anything other than war, and even this war he carries out absolutely incompetently,” Zheleznyak said.
