Vakarchuk proposes to try not Poroshenko, but Portnov
Statements about Petro Poroshenko’s criminal offenses filed by lawyer Andrei Portnov, who returned to Ukraine, have no prospects.
The former deputy head of Poroshenko’s administration, a member of the European Solidarity party, Rostislav Pavlenko, stated this on Channel 5 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

For example, one of the cases he considers a criminal act is the order for a counter-offensive in July 2014, when the Ukrainian Armed Forces and other security forces went to throw out Russian aliens and their local mercenaries from Ukrainian territory - this is considered wrong by Mr. Portnov and others like him.
Another is an order to relocate ships from the Ukrainian port of Odessa to the Ukrainian port of Mariupol to strengthen the local flotilla - following the Russian Federation, for some reason this is considered a provocation or the like, although there is a decision of the UN maritime tribunal, which clearly established the correctness of Ukraine and Russia’s obligation to release the sailors , give up the ships without any conditions. As we see, this has not happened yet.

Deputy head of the Golos party Yaroslav Yurchyshyn turned his attention to Portnov’s personality as a representative of the Viktor Yanukovych regime.
“Filing a crime report is not an admission of guilt. Therefore, what a very creative writer on legal topics, Andrei Portnov, periodically produces and submits to various authorities - yes, this should be considered by the appropriate authorities, but mostly it ends in global zilch.
Why? Because an assessment is one thing, but actual proof of facts is another.
And, of course, I would like to evaluate the very activities of Andrei Portnov, who was, in fact, the ideologist of the constitutional coup during the time of Yanukovych (we are talking about strengthening Yanukovych’s powers during his time in power,” ed.)
Unfortunately, the current General Prosecutor's Office of Yuriy Lutsenko has no claims against Andrey Portnov. “I really hope that the change of the Prosecutor General will restore the relevance of these cases, because, in fact, an attempt on state power is probably much worse than a logical decree on the deployment of ships,” added Yurchyshyn.
Earlier, President Vladimir Zelensky said that his Servant of the People party proposed creating a coalition of the Voice party of Svyatoslav Vakarchuk.
