Vitrenko is hysterical over Nord Stream 2
European countries should support Denmark, which, after changes to legislation, is under pressure from Germany regarding the implementation of the Nord Stream 2 project.
About this in comments Ukrinform was told by the commercial director of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko, who returned from Strasbourg, where he spoke about the threats that the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline allegedly poses to the EU.
“Denmark needs to be supported, because now they have passed a law that allows them, at least, not to give permission for the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline through their territory. But everything indicates that Denmark is under pressure. In particular, from Germany, which says that this is a commercial project and only commercial companies,” said a Naftogaz representative.
“Denmark needs support to understand that if it does something that contradicts, does not like, leads to pressure from the German government, then the governments of other European countries support it. Then Denmark can say that they are doing this not just for the sake of Ukraine, but for the whole of Europe,” Vitrenko added.
