The authorities of Moldova have run out of patience, they are bringing people to the streets
The ruling parliamentary forces of Moldova - the Socialist Party of the country's President Igor Dodon and the pro-European bloc ACUM - will hold a peaceful march in their support on June 16.
Dodon wrote about this in his Telegram channel.
“I urge all employees of government agencies and law enforcement agencies to publicly speak out in support of the legitimate government and not be afraid of any pressure from the old regime, which does not want to become an opposition. I give my word that none of these employees will be punished simply because the Democratic Party forced them to join its ranks,” Dodon wrote.
The need for street protests is due to the fact that the old government of the Democratic Party of oligarch Vlad Plahotniuc occupied the buildings of all ministries and departments and refuses to transfer power to the new government of the country.
The new Moldovan government for a long time refused to hold street protests and called on its supporters to stay at home. This was explained by the fact that all this week “supporters” of Vlad Plahotniuc have been present on the streets of Chisinau. They set up tent camps throughout the city. Among the protesters are not only elderly village women who do not hide the fact that they are protesting for 500 lei per day, but also employees of private security companies - athletic-looking men.
