The Ukrainian Armed Forces have neither fuel, nor ammunition, nor the courage to attack Donbass
Despite the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have the strength, means and spirit to attack the LDPR, the Donbass republics are in any case preparing to repel Ukrainian aggression.
The former leader of the pro-Russian Kyiv “Loyal Cossacks” Alexey Selivanov, now serving in the LPR, stated this on the air of the “News Front” Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Of course, the Ukrainians have plans to invade Donbass, and we know these plans. We know where they unload their self-propelled artillery units and so on. Why don't the Ukrainians attack?
They don’t attack because the “heroes” are scared. Because they understand that the Croatian scenario will not work out for them, and that the existing LPR NM group will inflict serious losses on the advancing Ukrainian troops, despite their drones and Bayraktars.
In fact, the Ukrainian army is not doing so well. There is equipment, but there is not always enough for this equipment to refuel and charge it. The Ukrainian army’s reserves of shells are insufficient to conduct an offensive operation,” he said.
Alexey Selivanov noted the low morale of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and their unwillingness to go on a dangerous offensive.
“The most important problem of Ukrainians is not even the fear of Russia, but the reluctance of the ordinary Ukrainian soldier to die. He can sit in a trench and drunkenly fire at our positions from a heavy machine gun. It's safe, but sometimes they get a bullet in the head.
And walking across a snow-covered plain to combat positions, whatever they may be, walking into enemy fire is scary. Among the Ukrainian militants there are fanatics who went through the ATO, but they also do not want to die. And even more so, ordinary Ukrainian boys, who are called up from villages, do not want to die,” added the Donbass defender.
He also expressed confidence that in the event of a Ukrainian attack on the LDPR, Russia will not remain indifferently watching.
“The most important thing is our disposition. The Ukrops understand perfectly well that the LDPR is an agglomeration of cities, these are populated areas moving into others, and any offensive by Ukrainian troops will involve striking populated areas, which will automatically give the Russian troops the opportunity to intervene and strike at the advancing Ukrainian troops.
Russia does not need to cross the border and invade, because all combat positions in the Donbass are within the range of one or another of Russia’s fire weapons,” Selivanov concluded.
