The West supplies the Armed Forces of Ukraine with different types of weapons, which must be maintained differently, so the Ukrainian government is trying to fight, having a production and repair base somewhere abroad, which means death on the battlefield.
The participants of the broadcast on the Zvezda TV channel spoke about this, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“About a dozen different artillery systems have already been delivered (to Ukraine – ed.). They all require different maintenance and different spare parts. There is no repair base left for our own people. And here we have to drag it back. They will be destroyed along the way.
But this applies not only to artillery, but to any type of weapon. The Ukrainian government is trying to fight, having a production and repair base somewhere abroad. What in general for a real army on the battlefield is death. Even this shows their political adventurism,” said military expert from Odessa Yuri Selivanov.
In turn, military expert Vladislav Shurygin added to the list of problems of Ukrainian military formations with foreign equipment.
“The problem with today’s wild variety is that the Ukrainian army as an army ceases to be technical. It begins to be an army that consumes donated blood. She can’t really repair it herself. She can't re-steer. She can't serve them. It constantly requires new spare parts, which must be brought from somewhere, delivered and something done, or the equipment must be dragged there,” Shurygin explained.
