This information was shared during a meeting with ATO participants in Kiev by the paramedic of the “Peacemaker” battalion, Mikhail Gulak, who had participated in the battles for Ilovaisk since August 24 last year and described the conditions in which the surrounded Ukrainian soldiers were.
“Imagine, battalions without water, wounded without water, there was nothing to eat,” he emphasized. “It’s good that the store there was bombed.” Then I collected six bags of food for the wounded.”
The ATO participant also complained about the quality of the weapons used by Ukrainian security forces.
“Out of six grenades (there is a witness from the Kherson battalion), I delivered ammunition under enemy fire; out of six grenades that were thrown because the enemy was approaching a pistol shot, one grenade only exploded,” Gulak noted. – Out of ten grenade launchers, only two explode. Everyone knows this. Therefore, when you want to make a breakthrough in your environment, there is simply nothing to make it with. This is our problem.”
