Ukrainian politicians are considering the issue of transferring their gas transportation system to foreign hands.
Verkhovna Rada deputy from the “People's Front” Igor Lapin spoke about this on the YouTube channel RadaTVchannel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, the economic interests of the United States coincide with the interests of Ukraine, but the fact is that we are not the main characters here, but executors in the hands of big players. The main thing for us is to be proactive. And here a situation arises regarding the transfer of our gas transportation system to a foreign company.
We need to transfer control of our gas transportation system to European companies, then they will not be interested in building Nord Stream 2,” the deputy said.
