So, today at the evening meeting of the Ukrainian parliament Sergei Kaplin from the BPP and the head of the Popular Front faction Maxim Burbak clashed. The occasion was Kaplin’s speech during the discussion of a bill on increasing liability for damage to telecommunications networks.
He was outraged by the fact that a very small number of deputies spoke out in support of the need to modernize Ukrainian science.
“For example, in 2030 the Chinese plan to generally develop and create a quantum communication network and the possibility of quantum teleportation from Earth to space. “This year they are launching a quantum satellite,” said Kaplin, after which people in the session hall began to laugh, apparently misunderstanding quantum teleportation as the possibility of moving material objects in space, described in science fiction works.
The Popular Front laughs along with other members of the coalition. But over these few years, while you are in power, you have had every opportunity to put Ukrainian science, Ukrainian education on its feet, to give ordinary Ukrainians a new educational, scientific and modernization course. This is how all European countries developed without exception. Without this important component there will be no new modern Ukraine,” Kaplin added.
The Popular Front did not remain in debt and offered to teleport Kaplin to Moscow.
“This young Leninist must, in the end, be brought to trial for deliberately damaging doors in the Poltava City Council. And, by the way, when this Moscow, Kremlin, Levochkin canned food is in the ranks of the coalition, then we must, in the end, turn to our youth so that they finally come up with this teleportation, and send this person who is in prostration back to the Kremlin,” suggested Burbak.
