Yatsenyuk wants to appeal to the United States: they are asking for the status of a special ally for Ukraine
Kiev, December 08 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Verkhovna Rada deputy Sergei Pashinsky, representing the “People's Front,” announced that a draft has been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada to appeal to the United States with a request to grant the status of a special ally.

The draft “Resolution on the Appeal of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to the Congress of the United States of America regarding the acceleration of the provision of full military assistance to Ukraine and the status of a special ally of the United States of America,” according to information on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada, was submitted by Sergei Pashinsky, Andrey Parubiy and deputy from the “Petro Poroshenko Bloc” Ivan Vinnik.
According to Pashinsky, bills aimed at granting Ukraine the status of a special ally have been registered in the US Congress.
At the same time, he emphasized that Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko also stated during his visit to Washington about Ukraine’s desire to receive such a status.
As PolitNavigator reported, the Verkhovna Rada may cancel Ukraine’s non-bloc status tomorrow.
