This was stated by his press secretary Olga Lappo.
“The information about his appointment as head of the NBU is complete nonsense. And another spring exacerbation. Arseniy Yatsenyuk has repeatedly stated that he is not going to head the NBU,” Lappo emphasized.
Let us remind you that today former people's deputy from the Batkivshchyna VO Andriy Senchenko said that the place of the ex-head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva will be taken by Yatsenyuk.
In February, Yatsenyuk already denied rumors that appeared then about his possible appointment as head of the National Bank of Ukraine.
On April 10, the head of the NBU, Valeria Gontareva, announced that she had submitted a letter of resignation to President Petro Poroshenko on May 10; other changes, according to her, are not yet planned in the NBU board. She noted that she expects a candidate for the post of head of the NBU from the president in the near future.
