Yatsenyuk demanded that the EU take an example from Ukraine and jump off the gas needle
Ukraine must pass a law on its NATO membership as soon as possible. The head of the Popular Front faction, Maxim Burbak, announced this today in the Verkhovna Rada.
“We need to pass a law as soon as possible, which will clearly outline the action plan. We also call on our partners in the Alliance to develop an action plan for Ukraine,” Burbak said.
The Popular Front also proposes to accept the parliament’s appeal to the international community on the inadmissibility of the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.
“For two years now we have not bought even a cubic meter from the aggressor country, and Europe itself is getting into gas bondage. European partners must take into account that if Nord Stream 2 is built, Ukraine’s income will decrease by $3 billion,” the deputy said.
