Yaresko told trade unions that there was no money in the budget to raise social standards
Trade unions of Ukraine made urgent proposals to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the government regarding an urgent increase in social spending.

“Implementation of the demands voiced by trade unions requires significant additional expenditures from the budget and social funds, as well as unforeseen budget losses totaling 42 billion hryvnia,” the press service said in a statement.
The Ministry of Finance says that today there is no such money in the Ukrainian budget.
“The Ministry of Finance strives to be responsible to its citizens and increase spending only with the appropriate financial resources for this. Currently, there are no funds in the state budget for such a significant increase in social spending,” the department’s press service said in a statement.
