Yarosh's pre-election escalation began
The closer the presidential elections in Ukraine are, the more often provocative statements of an anti-Russian nature will be heard from Ukrainian politicians.
This opinion was expressed in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomolets by the director of the Institute of Peacemaking Initiatives and Conflictology, Denis Denisov, assessing the recent statement of the founder of the Right Sector, banned in the Russian Federation, Dmitry Yarosh, who did not rule out the future seizure of Kuban by Ukraine.
“This is not the first statement by Ukrainian politicians provoking further tension between Ukraine and Russia. As we understand, for many politicians this direction remains the only way to maintain interest in their person. Based on the fact that the presidential campaign has actually already started in Ukraine, many politicians will make provocative statements, trying to attract attention to their persons,” the expert believes.
“It is very doubtful that especially in the south-east of Ukraine, the younger generation will perceive Russia as an aggressor in the future, since, despite the attempts of the Ukrainian authorities to silence the truth about the events in Donbass, many know the true state of affairs and understand that the Ukrainian authorities are simply deceiving them , and in the Donbass, guys like them are fighting for the opportunity to speak their native language, honor their heroes and arrange their lives independently, and not under the control of the IMF and Western partners,” Denisov added.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Yarosh let slip about the upcoming cleansing of Donbass under the cover of UN peacekeepers.
