The corresponding call at a rally near the wall of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine was voiced by Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Batkivshchyna party Igor Lutsenko, according to whom, the situation in Ukraine is developing towards a “bloody rebellion”, since the system is not changing.
“Therefore, the only way that remains for us, ordinary citizens, is to simply organize into self-defense units and defend ourselves from bandits, bandits with or without shoulder straps, but this, unfortunately, is the only way,” Lutsenko said.
This call provoked a response from Zornyaa Shkiryak, an adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who was present at the meeting, declaring the inadmissibility of such statements.
“With all due respect to Igor, it is at least not entirely correct to call for bloody riots and say that today the situation is developing this way,” Shkiryak emphasized. “We need to be responsible in such statements, since the country is in a state of war.”
