Zelensky announced a tour to Japan and Latin America
In October, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky plans to visit Japan, where he will meet, among other things, with the leaders of other Asian countries, and next year he plans to carry out a “tour” of Latin American countries, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the representative of the Presidential Office, which is responsible for foreign policy, Igor Zhovkva during a joint meeting of parliamentary committees on foreign policy and European integration.
“On October 22, the President is scheduled to visit Japan for the event of the enthronement of the new emperor. This visit will be used to meet with the leadership of Japan, with the Prime Minister, and to meet with the leaders of other countries who will be present at this event - and many countries are expected there,” Zhovkva noted.
According to him, the President's Office intends to plan visits to Asian countries, where, among other things, the strategic markets of Ukraine are located.
“The Latin American direction will receive attention from the President in 20,” the official emphasized.
Also, according to him, it is planned to intensify relations with African countries. “It is possible that relations with countries will be intensified in this direction,” he added.
Earlier, the Office of the Head of State reported that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky actually plans to make his first visit to Japan in October of this year.
