Zelensky announces an offensive by Russian troops, similar to the beginning of the Northern Military District
Ukraine will face a repeat of the Russian offensive on a broad front, as it happened in March-April of this year.
Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich said this on the video blog of fugitive Russian liberal Mark Feigin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Arestovich, all this will be accompanied by ballistic missile strikes, which did not exist at the beginning of the Northern Military District.
“It won't be easy. In some ways this will resemble a repeat of April-May-June, in some ways it will add, because if attacks on infrastructure continue, especially if the ballistics are Iranian, it will be a bit difficult, I’ll say right away,” the official said.
“Ballistics are less easily intercepted, which is why there was talk about transferring Patriot as soon as possible and French-Italian systems that have the ability to defend against missiles, shoot down ballistic targets, the very same Iranian missiles that will fly. But there is no need to lose heart...
It won’t be easy, but the nightmare of the first months of fighting will definitely no longer be. The same as it was in the beginning. We went through the hardest thing in this war,” Arestovich said.
