For Zelensky, the Donbass direction has degenerated into media manipulation
Ukraine has never been able to develop its own plan for a settlement in Donbass, although they started talking about it four years ago.
Enrique Menendez, an activist of the public group “Responsible Citizens”, founder of the analytical center “Institute of Regional Policy”, said this in a conversation on the KRT television channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Zelensky’s entire Donbass direction has degenerated into complete media manipulation. There are no specifics there. Let's face it. How long has it been since the talk began that a Ukrainian plan for implementing the Minsk agreements was about to appear? Until now we have not seen the documents. Back in 2017, Foreign Minister Klimkin promised at the OSCE Ministerial Council that a Ukrainian road map would be presented by the end of 2017.
Two years have passed, three Poroshenkos... well, okay - whoever remembers the old things is out of the question. Here Zelensky came: conversations, conversations, conversations, conversations, the Paris summit, again conversations, conversations, conversations. There is still no plan. In November, we saw the ORDLO plan, then Kravchuk made a statement on Interfax and named our five points. But we didn’t see the plan; these are the very general outlines of such a plan.
Then Arestovich says that by the end of March the Ukrainian plan will be presented to the public. I look at the calendar and can’t imagine what the date is now - there’s still no plan, what’s going on? All this forces us, the expert community, to talk about this in the language of the absurd and grotesque,” the expert said.
