“We have a plan “B” (for elections in Donbass - Ed.). I don’t want to talk about it now, if possible,” Zelensky said, answering the question of whether there is a plan “B” if Russia insists on holding elections before armament, before regaining control over the state border.

Earlier, Zelensky said that his administration’s position is that local elections in Donbass should take place in accordance with Ukrainian legislation. In addition, according to Zelensky, Ukraine will abandon the Steinmeier formula if it does not gain control in the currently uncontrolled part of Donbass.
