They are looking for 200 thousand commission members from Zelensky and are preparing to increase the turnout for the second round
Vladimir Zelensky’s headquarters intends to achieve a high turnout in the second round of the presidential election, and urge voters to check the presence of their names in the voter lists and change their voting location in advance if they need it, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As a rule, in the second round in Ukraine the turnout is lower than in the first. Only in 2004 was the turnout in the second round higher than in the first. We want to change this tradition too. We want the president to be elected by as many people as possible in 2019,” said Ze Team coordinator Alexander Kornienko.
Kornienko also noted that the law does not allow recruiting more new observers, so 15 thousand observers from “Ze Komanda” will continue their work in the second round of elections.
At the same time, Kornienko invited those who want to become members of election commissions to come to The Offices. “Because we need 210 thousand commission members. We, of course, have an understanding of where we will look for them and how we will invite these people. But, in any case, any support will not be superfluous,” he said.
