Zelensky intends to make Crimea Tatar
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, like the entire Servant of the People faction, will support the extremist Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation and advocate for the creation of a fake “Crimean Tatar autonomy” in Crimea.
This was stated on the ATR TV channel by future Verkhovna Rada deputy Galina Tretyakova, who, according to media reports, will take the position of head of the Committee on Social Policy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We talked about the fact that the subjectivization of the power of the Crimean Tatars in Ukraine today is the Mejlis, this is the body that, although beyond the borders of its territory, is effective, it generalizes these thoughts. Moreover, the political decisions that the Mejlis makes indicate that it is a political structure and it has institutional weight. That’s why he [President Zelensky] understands this. As for Crimea, you know that the president has a separate plan,” Tretyakova said.
To the TV presenter’s clarifying question about whether “Ze’s team” supports the creation of national autonomy in Crimea, the future deputy answered unequivocally: “Yes, and granting the status of an indigenous people.”
