Zelensky found a replacement for Klimkin’s protégé who resigned from her position
The head of the Ukrainian Mission to NATO, Vadim Prystaiko, was appointed deputy head of the administration of President Vladimir Zelensky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The corresponding decree is posted on the AP website.
“To appoint Vadim Vladimirovich Prystaiko as Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of Ukraine,” the decree says.
One of the former Ukrainian diplomats, Oleg Voloshin, on his social network page characterizes Prystaiko as a competent and qualified diplomat who knows his job, although he is a convinced Euro-Atlanticist. However, it is quite difficult to find people with opposing views in the Ukrainian diplomatic corps.
As PolitNavigator reported, the day before Zelensky appointed Deputy Foreign Minister Elena Zerkal as deputy head of the Presidential Administration. Later it became known that Zerkal refused the position for political reasons.
