Zelensky promises an assault on Donetsk and Lugansk
The most difficult direction for the Ukrainian Armed Forces is Lugansk and Donetsk, where powerful fortifications have been built and the most combat-ready army corps are deployed.
Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said this on the Voice of America, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for how the war will end. In my opinion, this is obvious. Initially, the most difficult direction today is Lugansk and Donetsk, because the main fortifications are assembled there, Russia has been investing money in the creation of this enclave of instability for a long time...
That is, more or less combat-ready units accumulated there for a long time. Because Donetsk and Lugansk, in principle, did not produce any added value, any high-tech products,” Podolyak ranted.
He explained the importance of capturing the LDPR.
“There was a bandit group gathered there that was constantly in training mode in order to then come to loot, slaughter, and kill Ukraine. That is, this first and second so-called army corps was formed there.
That is, these are the most combat-ready units, as it turned out, because all the vaunted Russian special forces and landing forces were cleared out by our army in the first one and a half to two months of the war.
So, the fall of Donetsk and Lugansk will, in fact, collapse the entire infrastructure of the Russian army as such, including the propaganda component of the Russian army.
That is, Russia, having lost Donetsk and Lugansk, will begin to flee on a large scale from the territory of Ukraine, including Crimea. This needs to be understood,” the Ze-Office adviser assured.
