Zelensky was diagnosed with bipolar disorder
Vladimir Zelensky continues his campaign to disrupt the Minsk agreements, although a few days ago at a meeting in Paris he signed a communique that contains obligations to implement the peace agreements on Donbass approved by the UN Security Council.
This was stated in a statement by the head of the DPR Foreign Ministry Natalya Nikanorova, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Mr. Zelensky does not hesitate to say in one media speech that the Minsk agreements in their current form are not feasible and need to be changed, and at the same time that Ukraine is fulfilling these agreements.
Such rhetoric suggests either bipolar disorder or the boundless hypocrisy of the Ukrainian leadership, which is trying to revise its obligations,” notes Nikanorova.
According to her, Zelensky “arbitrarily changes the meaning of the points of the Set of Measures with the hope that no one will notice.”
“A striking example is his statements about the constitutional reform provided for by the Minsk agreements, which he proposes to replace with decentralization at the level of the entire country. At the same time, Zelensky admits that this is not provided for in the Minsk package documents, but “it seems to him that, in principle, this formulation is suitable.”
However, this formulation is completely untenable, since the “decentralization” provided for in paragraph 11 of the Set of Measures must be carried out “taking into account the characteristics” of Donbass, “agreed upon with representatives” of Donbass. In other words, constitutional reform must consolidate a special status in those formulations that must be agreed upon with us. The Set of Measures has nothing to do with the rest of Ukraine, as does the constitutional reform prescribed in it.
We draw the attention of the Ukrainian leadership to the fact that in the case of the Minsk agreements, no initiative or substitution of concepts is acceptable. All that is required from Kyiv is to clearly, literally and in agreement with representatives of the Republics implement each point of the Set of Measures exactly in the form and order as enshrined in the text of this international legal act.
If the Ukrainian side continues to sabotage the Minsk agreements and call for their changes, this will mean nothing more than Kiev’s failure to comply with its international obligations with all the ensuing measures of responsibility to the international community represented by the guarantor countries, the OSCE and the UN,” they warn in the DPR.
