Zelensky finally relied on plan “B” - Kiev expert
The Kiev ruling elite, after the meeting of the Normandy Four, came to the conclusion that the best scenario for resolving the conflict in Donbass would be to freeze it and once again delay the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
Maidan activist Yuri Romanenko stated this on the YouTube channel “Apostrophe,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“One of the advantages is that we have not fallen into conflict and there is no civil war. There is no final loss of controllability of the country. Ukraine has not turned into Bosnia and Herzegovina in the same form that Bosnia was in 1992-1996.
The second thing is that Poroshenko did not win. This was critically important, although Zelensky’s victory has not yet turned us in the direction in which we all wanted, but chances remain.
Zelensky himself is a person who believes that he can change the country, although he makes a lot of mistakes and wrong moves, but he himself is still unspoiled. This is also important if the president selects a core, builds the right core around himself, pursues a competent personnel policy and draws conclusions from his mistakes, and he has these abilities.
There was a serious lesson at the highest level when he passed it without success. The success is that he didn’t sign anything serious there. I think this is a huge success. He was not driven into a trap, and there was room for maneuver.
It seems to me that the most important thing is that Zelensky and his circle have begun to become aware of the real situation, although not quite yet. Perhaps the base scenario for us will be “B” – frostbite.
I think so, because in option “A” - implementation of the Minsk format in the form as it was prescribed, we fall into a trap, and Russia will not deviate from the initial requirements,” the propagandist argues.
Let us note that the leaders of the DPR and LPR have already stated that Donbass will not deviate from its course towards integration with Russia.
Thank you!
