Zelensky was disgraced by ignorance of “Minsk” and promised that there would be no negotiations with the LDPR
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his team, despite the impossibility of ending the war by other means, are not ready to negotiate with the “terrorists” in the LDPR.
Marina Bardina, a deputy from the Servant of the People, stated this during a discussion on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A number of issues that were agreed upon in the Minsk agreements have no longer been fulfilled because all the deadlines have expired.
Therefore, Zelensky says that he has every right to demand a review of some border controls. And here, to our advantage, France and Germany support us in this matter. Because they have an understanding that if there is no Ukrainian control abroad, then no elections can take place, because it is necessary, first of all, to adhere to security issues,” the parliamentarian said.
Marina Bardina was asked where she got the information about the alleged support of Kyiv from France and Germany, but she ignored the question.
After which Verkhovna Rada deputy, ex-speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Voloshin noted that Bardina was voicing absurd demands that cannot be realized without a dialogue between Kyiv and Donetsk and Lugansk.
“I’ll tell you right away what Moscow’s answer will be: “Agree with Donetsk and Lugansk. Maybe they will at least let international peacekeepers in there tomorrow. Nothing stopped you from negotiating with them as part of the prisoner exchange,” Voloshin recalled.
Bardina replied that no negotiations with “terrorists” were acceptable.
“Who should we negotiate with? There is international law within which we must act as a country. International law is a priority,” the parliamentarian said.
In response, Voloshin recalled that Kyiv signed the Minsk agreements, which were also signed by the heads of the DPR and LPR, whose representatives are also included in the Contact Group in Minsk.
A deputy from Servant of the People tried to object that representatives of the LDPR were allegedly not included in the Contact Group, but she was corrected by opponents and the presenter of the program.
“The position is clear. Vladimir Zelensky has been president since the end of 2019. Let's address these questions to ex-president Pyotr Alekseevich. President Zelensky has a clear position - we are not ready to enter into dialogue with representatives of the so-called local authorities,” concluded Bardina.
