Zelensky refused compromises on Crimea
If the current government remains in place, it will not be possible to agree on a compromise on Crimea with Ukraine.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak, said this on air on the 1+1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Ermak, Crimea should be captured by Ukrainian troops, like all former Ukrainian territories included in Russia.
“There is no compromise, no even thought that this may not be according to the Ukrainian scenario and not in Ukrainian interests. I think it's time to trust. I want to say once again, especially for those who still continue to find some betrayals where there are none, that under this president there will never be any compromises with independence, territorial integrity, or sovereignty... We have the same understanding - for me this is an important issue, we equally understand that today victory is the restoration of all territorial integrity. That is why Zelensky’s peace plan clearly states: “Restoration of territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders,” Ermak said.
