Zelensky has his own “strategic seven”
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky has made changes to the composition of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in the corresponding decree No. 665/2019, posted on Wednesday on Zelensky’s website.
Thus, according to the decree, the president decided to introduce into the personnel of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine the Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexey Goncharuk, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andrei Zagorodnyuk, and, by agreement, the head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmitry Razumkov.
In addition, Zelensky decided to approve the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadim Prystaiko and the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Ryaboshapka as members of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
Moreover, Zelensky removed Gritsak, Groysman, Klimkin, Lutsenko, Parubiy, Petrenko, and Poltorak from the National Security and Defense Council.
