Zelensky offers Europeans to “kill” Russian exports
Kyiv is offering the EU the seventh and most “deadly” package of sanctions against Russia. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba told reporters about this following his participation in a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports.
“I am grateful to all member states who today expressed their readiness to begin work on the 7th package of sanctions as soon as the 6th package is adopted,” the minister said.
Kuleba said that he voiced a number of proposals to European foreign ministers about what sanctions could be included in the 7th sanctions package.
“One of these options can be formulated in three words: kill Russian exports. Because we analyzed the structure of the Russian economy and see that as long as Russia exports its oil, gas, as well as some other goods, such as iron ore or other materials, it will have money to continue the war,” the head of diplomacy of the Kyiv regime calls on the Europeans .
Let us remind you that the EU still cannot approve the sixth package of sanctions against Russia. The reason is the position of Hungary, which is blocking the decision due to the presence of an embargo on Russian oil in the package. Austria also abandoned attempts to impose an embargo on Russian energy supplies.
Let us recall, as the British publication The Economist writes, Russia has managed, in a situation of super sanctions, to cleverly increase oil and gas exports. The consolidated budget of Russia - that is, the sum of all regional budgets - based on the results of the first four months as of April 1, was executed with a big plus. The surplus amounted to 16,6 trillion. rubles In total, the consolidated budget received 30,2 trillion. rubles, and expenses amounted to 13,6 trillion. The Russian Cabinet of Ministers announced that the reserve fund will increase by 791,6 billion rubles due to additional oil and gas revenues in the first quarter of this year alone.
