Zelensky's Kherson watermelon is rotten
The team of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who gave a press conference the day before, decided to put on a show and treat everyone to watermelon brought from Kherson. But the watermelon is rotten.
Zelensky himself spoke about this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Mr. Nikiforov (the president’s press secretary - author) told me before our interview: “There is a watermelon from Kherson.” And I just said, when we were already driving in a good mood, everything was in humor, I said: “How can it be? We are coming from Kherson, look, everyone is posting pictures, everyone has watermelons. I say, can I have one watermelon? They told me: “They will hand it over.” You know, security, we need to check everything. I didn't see a watermelon, I didn't see anything. Here, before entering the interview, Nikiforov says: “There is a watermelon.”
Wonderful. He says: “Maybe at the end?” Well, yes, cool, the interview will end, there will be a positive, there will be such a surprise, we told the director, especially since he said: “How can we end?” Well, great point, there will be a watermelon. Then you say: “I have a question about Kherson.” And Mr. Nikiforov says: “No, at the end,” because Mr. Nikiforov came up with such a surprise for himself. Then he gives me [a note]: “It won’t happen, it’s rotten,” Zelensky said.
Thank you!
