Zelensky talked about animals and mental patients in his faction
The parliamentary faction of the pro-presidential Ukrainian party “Servant of the People” includes people with their own phobias and oddities.
The head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andrei Bogdan, said this in an interview with BBC Ukraine, answering the question of how he reacts to the fact that the faction is complaining that they want to turn them into “tame animals” at Bankova.
“Some of the people actually came from Facebook, like Liza Bogutskaya, we looked for some people on the Internet: who is popular in this district - we called him and asked: “Are you coming from us? Tomorrow we need to deliver the documents.” There are such people. Some were given by regional headquarters, there are journalists who were recommended to us by our press center, there are people from BRDO who were brought by Alexey Goncharuk, whom we have never seen in our lives,” Bogdan said about the formation of the party list.
According to him, the list was formed without a penny of money.
“Of course, there are different people there. There are people there who used to sell fruit at the market, and there are wedding photographers there. There are different people there. Part of our job is to form a team out of them,” says the head of the president’s office.
“And how do you react to ‘tame animals?’” the publication clarified.
“There are crazy people there, mentally ill. A cross-section of society. Science has not established who a mentally healthy person is; each of us has phobias, both you and me. There is a standard of a mentally healthy person. Someone feels like an animal - what can we do,” Bogdan is perplexed.
At the same time, he noted that for now all these people are considered one team.
“If someone there leaves the team and ceases to be part of our team, perhaps we will regard him as an enemy,” summed up the head of the presidential office.
