Zelensky said that five years is not enough for the president
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky will serve a second term as head of state.
This assumption was voiced by the first deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Sergei Trofimov, in an interview with Kyiv propagandist Dmitry Gordon, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Trofimov, a five-year term is not enough for Zelensky to implement his policies.
“My personal opinion is that I don’t think it will be a five-year term. I still think that there will be some kind of continuation of the cadence. Why do I think so? Because five years are really not enough for a policy in which something can be done. This is my personal opinion, but I cannot decide for the president whether he should go, whether he should do it, and so on. But at the same time, there is still a lot of time to do something, change, draw some conclusions. Therefore, this will be solely his decision,” Trofimov said.
At the same time, Zelensky himself stated during the election campaign last year that he does not plan to serve as president for more than one term.
