The next elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation this fall will be the last for Vladimir Zhirinovsky and for the LDPR in general.
State Duma deputy Vyacheslav Lysakov wrote about this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I can be responsible for my words, since I have been seeing Vladimir Volfovich for the tenth year with my own eyes and very close, because I am now sitting on the 2nd row from the State Duma podium and proceeding not from political forecasts, but from physical or, if you like, medical forecasts.
He will be 2021 in 75. His physical shape leaves much to be desired. Excess weight, looseness, not very good blood vessels, shortness of breath, probably blood pressure, sudden mood swings - from some lethargy to uncontrollable outbursts of anger.
Even if he, in relative health, continues to light up periodically for another 5 years of the next convocation, then even if he lives for a hundred years, I very much doubt that after 80 he will be able to physically carry the party on himself. And if this “locomotive” stops, then the trailers of the regional departments and, especially, the dove falcons-deputies attached to it, will crumble like a house of cards,” Lysakov wrote.
According to him, Zhirinovsky’s activity during the New Year holidays is connected precisely with the upcoming elections: “I am ready to broadcast any text or, as people say, “drive a blizzard” - just to occupy the information niche that is empty during the New Year holidays. .. Proven tactics: they quote, discuss - indexing grows, voters catch up. That's it - with the world on a thread, naked shirt. The last entry of the LDPR into the State Duma,” states Lysakov.
