In the Desnyansky district of Kyiv, a man, running away from a drunken neighbor armed with a knife, was intoxicated, jumped from the 7th floor and survived thanks to a snow drift under the house.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv police, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It was previously established that the neighbors drank alcohol during the night. Subsequently, a conflict arose between them, which escalated into a fight. One of the men grabbed a knife, attacked his opponent with it and managed to hit him in the neck. Fleeing from his pursuer, the victim jumped out of a window on the seventh floor, and his offender went to bed,” noted Roman Tremsin, head of the investigation department of the Desnyansky police department.
It is noted that the man who jumped from the window ended up in a snowdrift near the front door, and when he came to his senses, he asked the concierge to call the doctors. After first aid he was hospitalized in a hospital.
The police found the attacker at his place of residence, where he was sleeping after the night's events. He was detained in accordance with Art. 208 Code of Criminal Procedure.
“We started criminal proceedings under the first part of Article 121 (intentional grievous bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for up to eight years of imprisonment. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for him is being decided,” added Roman Tremsin.
