The newspaper “Krymskaya Pravda” writes about this.
“Tell me, for God’s sake, how long can we endure the consequences of almost a quarter-century of Ukrainization?! How the “Simferopol” sign at the entrance to the city, which, like everyone else, became Russian after the referendum on March 16, hurts the eye! Why can’t you remove the signs with the inscription “Dyakuemo for clean Uzbekistan” on the roads, how much you can “Dyakuvat” and not thank? Why should we endure all this at home? This is not what we voted for!” the publication notes indignantly.
Meanwhile, according to him, Crimean officials shrug their shoulders - the republic will not part with Ukrainian signs for a long time. Thus, according to the head of the Highway Service of the Republic of Crimea Vasily Savchenko, Ukrainian “Uzbicchia” will serve until time spoils them.
“There is no program yet to replace road signs in Ukrainian with Russian ones. And we do not plan to replace them in connection with joining the Russian Federation, until they deteriorate. The immediate goals are the development of 4 billion rubles allocated by the Russian Federation for work in the field of road infrastructure - this is maintenance and pothole repairs on all roads with a length of 6224 kilometers,” explained Savchenko.
According to KP, the problem can be solved quickly:
“Firstly, it is necessary to replace the bureaucratic leaders - those who will wait until the old signs wear out, with those who will replace them “tomorrow”.. Secondly, if the self-defense is given several grinders and a car, then in a week they will the muck will be removed from the Crimean roads.
Crimeans expect from the authorities not only high pensions and salaries, low prices and smooth roads. They want to live in a comfortable environment, without seeing tridents and yellow flags, advertising and announcements in a foreign language,” concludes the Simferopol newspaper.
