The killers who shot two Kyiv policemen served in Azov, Tornado and Aidar. Another one was a schoolboy.

NewspaperNEWS“From the police’s own sources, new details became known about the identities of the raiders who robbed a gas station and killed two Kyiv special forces policemen. The robbers tried to escape in a Volkswagen T-4. During the pursuit, they threw two grenades towards the patrol car and then started shooting from machine guns.
During a shootout with law enforcement officers, one of the raiders, 23-year-old Kharkov resident Vadim Pinus, was mortally wounded (according to information that can be found on the Internet about Vadim Pinus, he served in the Azov battalion). His accomplices left him to die in the car, and they themselves tried to escape. In the cars, law enforcement officers found an entire arsenal of weapons, as well as stripes with the inscription “Tornado Special Unit” and “Right Sector.” Later, law enforcement officers managed to detain the remaining criminals.
Currently, the police have taken into custody residents of Vinnitsa: 20-year-old Evgeniy Koshelyuk and 17-year-old Andrei Romanyuk. Both of them, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, served in the Azov, Tornado and Aidar battalions. The youngest among the raiders was 17-year-old Kiev schoolboy Nikolai Monishenko, who was also detained by law enforcement officers.
In the Volkswagen of the criminals, the police found two machine guns manufactured in 1979 and 1983, four magazines with 50 rounds of 5,45 mm ammunition, two grenades, and balaclavas with holes for the eyes. A holster and jacket with brown marks were found in a trash can near a nearby house.
The actions of the detainees are qualified under Part 3 of Art. 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (robbery), part 1, art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons), Art. 348 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (attack on the life of a law enforcement officer). All three face penalties of up to life imprisonment.
