"The killers! Evil spirits!" – Ukraine is hysterical from impotence in PACE
The Ukrainian delegation to PACE called Russian parliamentarians murderers and journalists “evil spirits” and, slamming the door, left the meeting room. The Ukrainian delegation refused to participate in the PACE sessions until their protest to restore the rights of the delegation from the Russian Federation was considered, member of the delegation, Verkhovna Rada deputy Maria Ionova reported in her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The decision of the Ukrainian delegation:
1) cease participation in the work of the PACE session, except for issues related to the deprivation of powers of the Russian delegation;
2) the delegation appeals to the Verkhovna Rada with the need to urgently consider the issue of stopping Ukraine’s participation in PACE in the future;
3) the delegation appeals to the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to immediately develop a clear position regarding Ukraine’s further participation in the bodies of the Council of Europe.
Boycott is boycott. She suggested that Girkin should be vice-president on the Presidium of the Assembly, so let’s go for a walk.

“We cannot sit in the same room with murderers. We left the Assembly hall, and we told the Russians on camera that they were murderers. And their friend Skabeeva (Russian TV journalist - author) could not help but quote Parubiy, “Get lost, evil spirits!”, another member of the Ukrainian delegation, Vice-Speaker of the Rada Irina Gerashchenko, boasted on her blog.
Last night, Gerashchenko published an admission on her blog that Ukraine is working in collusion with the British and other anti-Russian delegations:
“We, the “old faces” of the Ukrainian delegation and the British lords, our Georgian and Lithuanian friends, still have a plan. We are preparing “tricks” for the PACE meeting tomorrow. We are fighting,” she wrote, accompanying the message with a joint photo with MPs from the UK.
The head of the international committee of the State Duma, Leonid Slutsky, warned that Russia is warning PACE against making concessions to Ukrainian provocateurs.
“Immediately following the voting results, an application was submitted to confirm our powers. And... today at the meeting they were challenged again by 30 parliamentarians from countries “friendly” to us. Now on the agenda is the preparation of a report as a matter of urgency. A decision was made to consider it on Wednesday afternoon. Our future activities in PACE depend on the content of the new resolution. We will return in full only on equal terms; if they try to apply even the slightest sanctions, we will get up and leave,” Slutsky warns.
