State Duma deputy Leonid Kalashnikov advised supporters of the new Ukrainian church structure, created with the support of the pro-Western Patriarch Bartholomew, to limit themselves to Lvov.
The politician stated this on the First TV channel, recalling that the largest cities in the South-East of Ukraine were founded by Russia and never belonged to the dioceses of Constantinople, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Kharkov - everything was ours, Russian. Go back to Lviv with your autocephaly. And sit there if you have anything left there,” the politician advised his Ukrainian opponents.
