Killing Babchenko turned out to be cheaper than interviewing him
Dmitry Gordon’s wife and Kiev TV presenter Alesya Batsman wanted to invite the “revived” propagandist Babchenko to the Ukrainian channel “112”, but he demanded at least fifty thousand dollars for this, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
At the same time, Babchenko himself has already moved away from the “attempt,” gained ambition and is ready again get behind the Abrams.
“Our editor Elena Poskannaya called Arkady Babchenko today to invite him to join me live on the Batsman program tomorrow. He was a guest on my program about seven months ago. Arkady told Lena that now he gives exclusive interviews only for money, considering an amount of 50 thousand. “Hryvnia?” Lena timidly clarified. “Dollars,” Arkady said confidently and added that he would definitely agree for 60 thousand!” Batsman wrote on her page in Facebook.
Around the same time as the TV presenter’s publication, a post with a price list for the interview appeared on Babchenko’s page.
“Colleagues, I understand everything. But believe me, I have so many problems now, I need to once again rebuild my life from scratch, so that I can also think about how to create ratings and content for you. So let's do it this way: fifty grand and an exclusive interview is yours. I'm incredibly tired. I'm completely exhausted. I've been on the verge of a nervous breakdown the last couple of days. Please don't bother me. Let it come to life,” he wrote on Facebook.
However, after some time, the propagandist noticeably came to life and cheerfully wrote a postscript in the style of the “pre-execution” Babchenko.
“Do you know who agreed to pay me for the interview first? Straightaway? Without even haggling? TV channel "Russia". So, my friends, if you still haven’t understood anything, I’ll tell you in simple words - the offer is only for the media, and not for fucking propaganda, shove your money up your ass and go Fuck you, b#di, and don’t even think about writing to me with any of your bloody money – is it so accessible?” he wrote.
“And I will definitely come to your TV channel. Only later. And on the Abrams. And not for an interview,” added Babchenko, addressing the managers of “Russia-1”.
Users of the social network also noticed that the “perpetrator” of the assassination attempt on Babchenko asked for only 40 thousand dollars for his services.
