The Ukrainian military command does not have a clear strategy for the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Donbass, but at the same time it has found an effective way to get rid of armed formations not controlled by Kyiv.
The head of the DPR representative office in the JCCC, Major General Ruslan Yakubov, spoke about this in an interview with the Donetsk News Agency, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If they had a clear strategy, I’m sure they would take more thoughtful and proactive actions. Seizing territories in the “gray zone”, for example, in Chigari, gives them only one thing – loss of manpower. The Ukrainian command, in order to realize aggressive goals with loud slogans, sends radical armed formations that are essentially beyond their control and thus gets rid of them. It is practically impossible to do this in any other way,” he explained.
