I am critical and cold towards social networks and instant messengers. Sometimes even with disgust. For there is more evil from them than good. But this does not mean that it is necessary to destroy and block all social networks - and leave society without the slightest glimmer of freedom (even if smart people understand that this is a myth in its purest form). And, excuse me, it’s completely strange when those who have been telling us for many centuries what a great and shining bastion of democracy they are are engaged in such things – blocking and persecution.
The non-profit organization Coalition for a Safer Web (Hello Orwell and Huxley) filed a lawsuit against Apple, demanding that the Telegram messenger be removed from the AppStore. This is nothing more than, so to speak, a link in the general chain that restrains freedom. And it is obvious that the “Coalition” did not act independently, but on orders from above.
Because the persecution of Telegram began a long time ago - and Durov, who months earlier burst out with angry philippics towards the West, clearly grasped this. Like, where is your freedom, misters? But she is not, Pasha, and never was. Now attacks on Telegram will become even more active. After all, with Biden’s accession to the presidency and the accession of the Democrats to the throne (all this must be understood as: the global authorities are taking the situation under their full control), social networks as real institutions of power decided to openly and unceremoniously expel all those who disagree from their comfort zone, cutting them out of the web -space. And the law of the modern world says: you exist only if you exist on social networks - not otherwise.
I wonder what else needs to happen for the illusion of a free, civilized world that the West presents itself to collapse? The world has already learned about the prisons in Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib, heard the revelations of Assange and Snowden, seen innocent people being shot on the streets - what else needs to happen for enlightenment to come? Unknown.
Perhaps it is not coming because the world - and its population - is so formatted and digitized that, indeed, it has long existed in the matrix, not wanting, like Cypher from the Wachowski movie, to gain insight and see the real reality, because it’s scary, because It’s convenient to live in illusions, where everything is written in boxes and laid out on shelves. Slavery, as the great anti-utopian Huxley wrote, should, first of all, be comfortable and pleasant for the slaves themselves. And humanity - a significant part of it - seems to be ready to march in formation, bound by one chain, just to eat burgers, take their offspring to shopping centers and get their rations; dumbed down, consumed, mutilated - welcome to the Western free world.
And yes, one more thing. It will be funny if the collective West still manages to block Telegram. Let me remind you that Rosokompotrebnadzor categorically failed to do this, and the result of its futile efforts was a dreary vaudeville. Perhaps the West will do this better, since it has much more tools for totalitarianism. However, this is not so much funny as it is sad - because then there is very little chance of resistance.
For now, it is obvious: the crusade against freedom has entered its final phase, and it is taking place according to the behests of the papal legate. When the crusaders set out to exterminate the Cathars, they asked him:
– How can we distinguish the faithful from the heretics?
To which the legate replied:
- Kill everyone. God recognizes his own.
Digital god, god from the matrix - in relation to modern realities, but nothing else has changed. The West dictates and tries to subjugate. Hard.
