The participation of “cyborgs” in Tymoshenko’s congress turned into a huge scandal
The military, who were presented as “cyborgs” at the presidential nomination ceremony held recently in Kyiv, received 10 thousand dollars for participating in this show.
The former commander of the assault group of the Donbass battalion, Taras Kostanchuk, stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel ZIK, a Politnavigator correspondent reports.
“When I asked the boys what it was, they answered: we were improving our financial situation. How many? 10 thousand dollars each. This was said face-to-face. I won’t be able to prove it, and they won’t confirm it on camera. But I warned them that I would say this,” Kostanchuk said.
Journalist Oles Kromplyas believes that Tymoshenko’s expenses have fully paid off, because Ukrainians, indoctrinated by propaganda, honor the ATO soldiers who fought at the Donetsk airport as heroes.
“Everything was done correctly. It worked for ordinary people. Her political strategists have thought of everything. I think they calculated the negative reaction of a small group of active citizens,” Kromplaas said.
“Cyborgs” in Ukraine are called military personnel who tried to hold the Donetsk airport, but were driven out of there by the DPR militia. Subsequently, it became known that the ATO soldiers were betrayed by Kyiv politicians, who, in secret protocols to the Minsk agreements, recognized that the airport should go to the DPR.
Ukrainian positions were well fortified, so the battle for the airport turned out to be bloody. Kyiv propagandists launched the myth of invincible “cyborgs” and the slogan “They survived, concrete did not.”
