Participant in the defense of Slavyansk: Givi’s death will not add any chances to Ukraine
Former Kiev militiaman Dmitry Zhukov (call sign “Kedr”), who participated with Motorola in the defense of Slavyansk in 2014, categorically rejected the conspiracy theories that appeared in the Ukrainian media about the death of battalion commander Mikhail “Givi” Tolstykh.

“I pray for the newly deceased R.B. Mikhail. I completely exclude conspiracy theories about the order from my own people. Givi, like Motor, suited the leadership of the republic. Another thing is that the enemy on that front line is trying to influence the situation in the republics by eliminating key commanders and thus achieve victory. It’s too late, all the commanders who died at the hands of saboteurs managed to do their job of forming an army from scratch in war conditions - thanks to personal qualities, fearlessness, sacrifice, dedication, for which the Lord will forgive their sins and accept them into their monasteries,” Zhukov explained.
